All-round protection with IP65: HMI devices

Featuring a slim and elegant industrial design, the devices are designed for mounting on a support bracket or on a supporting foot. The new series is available in three versions: Simatic Flat Panel Monitor Pro is a rugged industrial display monitor which can be installed at a distance of up to thirty meters away from the PC; Simatic Thin Client Pro is especially suitable as a second workstation for terminal and web-client applications; Simatic Multi Panel 377 Pro, a high-performance device that can be expanded when necessary, is intended for use with the Simatic WinAC MP 2007 control software.

All the new HMI devices have all-round protection and a brilliant 15-inch touch display. Fitted with a flexible interface, they can be mounted on different support-bracket or supporting foot systems.

They can be used independently of control cabinets or machines and therefore enable ergonomic operator control even in difficult places in a plant or on a production line. The devices can be connected to the support bracket or floor-mounted column from above or below as desired. A feature of the new HMI devices is their low weight – they are therefore very easy to install.

The rear can be easily removed in order to install new cables or replace a memory card, for example. This makes the new devices especially easy to maintain, even after they have been installed.
