Verfahren zur automatischen Mustererkennung

Bei der Erkennung von Mustern in Sequenzen elektronischer Daten, wie z. Bsp. der Sprach- oder Bilderkennung, tritt in der Praxis das Problem auf, dass die Datensequenzen unterschiedliche Längen aufweisen, obwohl sie zur gleichen Klasse gehören, das heißt bspw. das gleiche Wort in einem gesprochenen Text oder Muster in einem Bild repräsentieren. Das neuartige Verfahren zur automatischen Mustererkennung kann Muster in Sequenzen elektronischer Daten in Echtzeit, mit hoher Genauigkeit und geringem Rechenaufwand, erkennen, selbst wenn die Sequenzen nichtlinear gestaucht oder gestreckt sind. In der Performance übertrifft das Verfahren dabei deutlich die Hidden Markov Models (HMM’s), die bisher State of the Art zur Mustererkennung waren.
