Inhibition of restenosis by an accelerated healing process
We developed an alternative and more physiological approach to limit restenosis, namely by accelerating the natural healing process. Results in a pig animal model proved the potential of this new method successfully.
This approach could be applied via a drug eluting stent or by means of specially designed catheter.
