Monitoring of the coagulation of blood using "Surface Acoustic Waves" (SAW)
Measuring the coagulation time is an essential step in determining the individual coagulation tendency of a patient as it is important before surgery or to identify a suitable dosage of anticoagulation agents.
The present invention provides a device which allows the determination of the coagulation time using a “Surface Acoustic Waves”-based method.
