Higly active Ansamitocin analogues for tumor therapy
The invention comprises designed novel biologically highly potent ansamitocin analogues for tumor therapy, inlcuding among other new 19-deschloro and demethoxy derivatives of known AP-3 ansamitocin, showing a strong inhibitory effect on cell growth. They could be the basis for a cancer therapy, and might show fewer side effects than the known ones tested at clinical studies.
