Acoustical controlled surgery suction system

Studies have shown that postoperative acute renal failures are caused by free hemoglobin due to mechanical damages of red blood cells (Hemolysis).

This invention describes a special control system which works by a acoustical sensor in the hand-held unit of the suction device which records the sound of the suction and controls the pump by a special algorithm. The system is adjusted so that no more blood will be damaged by the suction device. As a second effect we get better suction power. As a third advantage we prevent, that the suction hand-held unit adheres to any tissue in the wound.
