A new FRET-based Sensor for Measuring Dynamic Pressure Load
Here we present the first instantaneous, temperature independent measurement of dynamic forces in any gaseous or fluid phase with customizable pressure sensitivity. A FRET-based sensor is used, two chromophores being linked by a tuneable DNA-spacer, whose pressure dependent deflection directly leads to a correlating change in the FRET signal.
