Siemens' production site for Angiography systems in Forchheim, Germany
Angiography systems used for interventional imaging in radiology, cardiology and image-guided surgery have been produced in the Siemens Healthcare Business Unit AX (Angiography & Interventional X-Ray Systems) since 1990.
They are developed to improve clinical outcomes during interventions and help fight the most threatening diseases.
Further, all systems are designed to reduce radiation dosage. Innovations generated at Siemens' Forchheim facility include the only angiography system controlled by a robot-driven C-arm.
