Thailand Food Conference 2011

Thailand Food Conference, ASEAN’s Advanced International Food Conference is an important regional forum for food scientists, food technologists, marketing experts, designers, entrepreneurs and executives as well as government sectors, as it sheds light on many of the recent trends and the upcoming prospects of the inter-related industries of food, beverage, ingredients and additives.

To drive its thriving economy further forward, The Thai government is utilizing the creative economic concept as a platform for its many initiatives. Thailand’s food industry, being the country’s leading industry, can easily adopt creative economy into its operation. As food continues to evolve from being just a mere human requisite that fills the stomach and gives energy, to a barometer of people’s lifestyles, social satisfactions and other specific needs, producers and manufacturers are left with adequate room for creativity and innovation to add value to food products.

Thailand Food Conference 2011 will feature main topics that will move the industry toward ‘Creative Food, Creative Thailand’ concept and generate ideas to industry professionals to further develop Thailand’s food industry as a leading world food supplier.

The six plenary tracks that have been selected from several significant issues that face today’s food business, will highlight relevant solutions and prospects, with a view to promote greater awareness in new food technologies for today and the future.

Additionally, as Thailand Food Conference is co-located with Health Food and Ingredient Thailand (HFIT) 2011—ASEAN’s one stop shop for health food and ingredient, emphasis will also be given to long-standing and budding food ingredients and food technologies that promote healthier products, food innovation, updated scientific and regulatory affairs as well as the opportunities for the global market.
