Converter with water cooling in the low output range

Siemens Drives Technologies will be presenting the water-cooled version of the Sinamics S120 converter for use in dusty, salt-laden or aggressive atmospheres and for outputs from 18.5 to 90 kW and motor currents from 38A to 178A at the SPS/IPC/Drives Fair for the first time.

Siemens has thus extended its family of drives with a converter of blocksize format in the lower output range.

This converter is extremely compact on account of its efficient heat dissipation.

The new converters supplement the range of liquid-cooled chassis devices with outputs from 110 to 120 kW that have been available up till now.
