Programmbeschreibung / Programme Summary

Die zentrale Zielsetzung des Sonderforschungsbereichs ist die Gestaltung von wandlungsfähigen Produktionssystemen. Als Forschungsvision soll aus den in der ersten Förderperiode entstandenen, theoretisch fundierten Gedankenmodellen ein interdisziplinär überprüftes und umsetzbares Gestaltungskonzept wandlungsfähiger Produktionssysteme für die variantenreiche Serienproduktion im turbulenten Umfeld entwickelt und in Teillösungen prototypisch realisiert werden. Ziele der zweiten Förderperiode (2000-2002) des Sonderforschungsbereichs sind die Zusammenführung und teilprojektübergreifende Abstimmung der Lösungsansätze der ersten Förderperiode. Dazu gehören neue Methoden der Betriebs- und Arbeitswirtschaft, die Gestaltung der Struktur wandlungsfähiger Produktionssysteme durch situativen Einsatz verschiedener Organisationsprinzipien, die Entwicklung produktions- und informationstechnischer Systeme für das Auftragsmanagement in wandlungsfähigen Strukturen sowie die Entwicklung der Mitarbeiterpotentiale auf Gruppen- und Individualebene im Rahmen selbstorganisierender soziotechnischer Systeme.

The main objective of the collaborative research centre is the creation of transformable manufacturing systems. It is the vision of this project to create a globally tested and workable base concept for transformable manufacturing systems involved in high-variant series production amid a turbulent environment. This basic concept will be derived from the theoretical model developed in the first research period and implemented in partial solution steps. The goal of the second research period (2000-2002) is to join together and co-ordinate the solution concepts of the first period while covering all sub-projects. Among these concepts are new methods of business administration and industrial engineering, the structural design of transformable manufacturing systems through the ad hoc use of different organisational principles, the development of manufacturing and data transfer systems to enable order management in transformable structures as well as the advancement of the potential of groups and individuals working in self-organised socio-technical systems.
