Institute for Psychology Information

ZPID is the national documentation and information center for psychology in the Federal Republic of Germany. Following a suggestion of the German Psychological Society (DGPs), ZPID was founded by Prof. Dr. Günther Reinert in 1972 and was funded as a project of the University of Trier until 1988 when it achieved the status of a Central Scientific Institute of the University of Trier.
