General Information

The FHVR – University of Applied Sciences for Administration and Legal Affairs – is a state university. Its programmes lies within the following fields of competence:

• public administration
  
• justice
  
• public safety / policing

Over the last years the European dimension has gained importance within all areas of the civil service. This development is an especially met by our master-programm "European Administrative Management".

After graduation our students start their carreers within the Civil Service or the Police Service of Berlin and other German States. They are also hired by federal agencies such as the BKA (Federal Investigation Agency) or after completing a master`s degree in public management by larger companies of the private sector.
Our programms comprise extended internships within the future fields of professional practice.
