The Deutsche Bundesbank’s tasks

The Deutsche Bundesbank, the central bank of the Federal Republic of Germany, is an integral part of the European System of Central Banks (ESCB) and fulfils the tasks attributed to it within that framework.

The Bundesbank also performs a number of national and international functions which are unrelated or only indirectly related to its monetary policy tasks in the Eurosystem.
