We can customize polymers to meet different material, processing and end-use requirements in an optimum way by varying their structure and synthesis and through compounding. Surfaces and interfaces are specially prepared.
Cellulose and starch - better processes, new products
The future of material development belongs more to new production processes and specially tailored materials than to the discovery of entirely new chemical building blocks (monomers). In the Carbacell and Lyocell processes, we offer alternatives to the conventional viscose process. With other cellulose and starch products, many new fields of application can be opened up. We offer a wealth of R&D experience with these interesting raw materials to help our customers develop products specially tailored to market requirements.
Besides the materials described above, we develop polymers with special functional properties. This calls for the skill and intuition of an expert in chemical synthesis.
