Bavarian Competence Network in Mechatronics

The Bavarian Competence Network in Mechatronics (BKM) is a cooperation of six Bavarian research institutes and more than 30 industrial partners.

The intentions of the BKM, established in 2000, are integration and extension of scientific competence in mechatronics, transfer of technology to small and medium-sized enterprises as well as education and training of engineers, technicians, foremen and craftsmen.

To hold and increase Bavarias leading position in this research areas, the Bavarian government is encouraging BKM’s activities.
