Demonstrationcenter "Cyclability of Materials" Merseburg

The Demonstrationcenter "Cyclability of Materals" is an interdisciplinary institution. It is promoted by Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung. It combine the scientific and technological know how of the Institut for Polymeric Materials, the Fraunhofer Institute for Mechanics of Materials in Halle and the Faculty of Economics, Institute for Business Administration - especially Corporate Environmental Management of the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg in the middle of Sachsen-Anhalt on the place of polymers and combined materials.

The business and the goal of the center are

• assistance of small and medium companies to realize research on the sector of cyclability of materials
  
  
• modell development to valuate the cyclability under economical and ecological aspects
  
  
• generation of recommendations for material optimation zur Werkstoffoptimierung for example using cyclable materials
  
  
• recycling optimized product constraction
  
  
• development of new application for recycling materials and
  
  
• generation of education programs and demonstration examples to the theme cyclability of materials"
