Munich-based WLAN-specialist Garderos has won Polish Comtica as strategic "Systems Integration Partner". Even before the EU-enlargement, Siemens spin-off Garderos has established itself as an important player in the promising Eastern European WLAN-market.
Garderos Software Innovations GmbH has signed a partnership agreement with Comtica, a leading Polish business intelligence provider. As Garderos´ first systems integrator in Poland, Comtica will be adding Garderos´ software to its portfolio. This enables the company to provide its customers with reliable and secure software for the management of WLAN hotspots, i.e. wireless high-speed Internet access locations. In this way, Garderos´ and Comtica´s partnership will help large operators as well as small and medium-sized businesses to gain cross-border opportunities.
Pawel Laskowski, CEO of Comtica, welcomes the new partnership: "The Garderos software is tailor-made to the needs of hotspots operators, especially in such a growing WLAN market as Eastern Europe. With the Garderos software, we can offer our customers a reliable and secure solution, which will serve large operators as well as smaller businesses. They will all benefit from one-click control over WLAN service access and billing."
Hermann Knauer, Director Global Account at Garderos, adds: "Poland has a great market potential. We are happy to partner with Comtica, a company whose high reputation and excellent customer relationships will provide us with further opportunities in the highly promising Eastern European WLAN market."
The partnership with Comtica marks another milestone in Garderos´ international partnership program. Today, the company has partners in countries such as Germany, Belgium or Hungary. In many other countries, strategic alliances are being prepared. Furthermore, Garderos is closely linked to such strong partners as Deutsche Telekom, Siemens and Fujitsu Siemens Computers.
