The Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology is a Center for Learning and Memory Research investigating learning-induced plasticity in the brain from molecular processes to systemic function, cognition and behaviour. The IfN houses three departments, several independent temporary research groups and special laboratories working at different levels of analysis under the general theme of the institute "Brain mechanisms of Learning and Memory".
