Solid Mechanics

Dantec Dynamics GmbH is the specialist for laseroptical strain and stress measurement on every type of material and component as well as for measuring and analysing harmonic and transient vibrations. Dantec Dynamics also produces shearography systems for non-destructive testing on components, particularly on composites. Our systems are applied to product/component development and material science in the automotive, aerospace and electronics industries.
Dantec Dynamics’ non-contact measurement equipment for solid mechanics, based on the ESPI (Electronic-Speckle-Pattern-Interferometry) and Digital Image Correlation (DIC) technique, is able to provide full-field and 3D results on the highest demands of resolution and precision. Thus it is possible to validate simulation data in a very short time. In today’s world of research and development, time is of the essence, which is why CAD and simulation have become very important tools for R&D. It is extremely valuable to have complete and fast input for material parameters on one side, and the ability to measure prototypes for strength and vibration behaviour on the other side. All our products are manufactured and designed for industrial applications, easy to use and high resistant. The basis of the measurement systems is our own, in-house developed ISTRA - Software which guarantees user-friendliness and convenient handling.

Fluid Mechanics

A complete range of measurement instrumentation designed for diagnostics and research guarantees solutions for any application into flow, turbulence, micro fluids, spray atomisation and combustion processes. Measurements include flow velocities, turbulence distributions, mass transport (concentration) heat transfer (temperature), combustion species (e.g. OH, NO, CH) and particle sizing. The range of measurement systems includes Laser Doppler Anemometry (LDA), Particle Dynamics Analyzer (PDA), Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) and Laser Induced Fluorescence (LIF).
