Novel non-opioid analgesics

<b>UHH061/08.04.2011</b><br><br>

The invention relates to a novel class of analgesics, as well as their therapeutic utilization and their method of synthe-sis. The novel class of amino-, imino-1,2,3-triazine derivatives presented is classified as non-opioid analgesics and may be used for the treatment and relief of all kinds of pain-related diseases. The compounds’ positive analgesic effect has been successfully proven in a mice pain model and is based upon their advantageous agonizing of potas-sium channels. Compounds of the invention can be produced and applied in all commonly used galenic formulations (solid and liquid), ranging from tablets and film-coated tablets, over capsules, powders, granulates and pills, to solutions and sprays.
